Assists parents and caregivers raising children, ages birth through 21, who face emotional, behavioral, and mental health challenges. Advocates for collaboration with agencies like DCP&P, DDD, Juvenile Justice, etc. Offers peer support, education, advocacy, mediation training, accompaniment to court appointments, IEPs, etc. Extends the services of the county Family Support Organization and provides information and referrals for healthcare professionals, special education schools, legislators, and substance abuse programs.
