Volunteer Program | SAGE Eldercare

Provides opportunities for individuals to make a difference through volunteer commitments, which can be long-term, short-term, or project-based. Ways to contribute time and talent include: delivering Meals On Wheels, grocery shopping for local residents, repairing furniture at the workshop, working at SAGE's Resale Shop, answering phones, providing clerical help, serving as a program assistant in Spend-A-Day, working with SHIP of Union County as a Medicare counselor, offering internet research and data analysis, assisting with fundraising events or other programs, and participating on a committee.

Provides GPS (Guidance, Planning, and Support) Services, grocery shopping and errand service, HomeCare, InfoCare, Meals On Wheels, SHIP of Union County (Medicare), Spend-A-Day adult day health center, support programs, community education, and exercise classes. Also runs the SAGE Resale Shop and Furniture Restoration Workshop, offering volunteer opportunities and financial support for its initiatives.
