Positive Encounters | Archway Programs
Coordinates weekly age-appropriate activities and provides respite service to foster parents with children registered/in DCF. Activities focus on personal accountability, problem solving, pre-vocational skills, team building and leadership skills. The planned activities are designed to provide recreation, while at the same time enhancing self-esteem and socialization skills, and also provide respite to foster parents/guardians. Transportation is provided. Hours vary dependent on planned activity, on Saturdays.

Eligibility
DCF foster family youth (ages 8 through 17)Referrals come through DCF case workers.* Foster parents with children registered/in DCF.*Notify your DCF case worker to let them know youre interested in Archway Programs in order for the referral to be sent to us. Within 48 hours, Archway staff will be in contact with you.
