Description
Advises employers to maintain workers' compensation insurance, which provides benefits to workers who are injured as a result of a work-related accident. These benefits may include medical treatment, temporary disability benefits, permanent partial disability benefits, permanent total disability benefits, and dependency benefits in cases where the accident results in the worker's death.In the event of a dispute, you may also file a petition for an informal hearing with the department.
