In addition, the division is responsible for the following services: Business regulation, Charitable organization registration and regulation, Criminal background checks for occupations that require certifications/licensing, Investor protection and investment fraud investigation, Registering all medical practitioners and pharmacies that prescribe or administer prescriptions to the communities.
