Service area

Description

Assisting parents of children with developmental and intellectual disabilities, the program aids in navigating and accessing special education programs and services for eligible children. Advocates provide various services such as guiding through evaluations, monitoring progress, offering technical assistance for filing complaints, aiding in mediation, providing information on services and technology, obtaining transitional services, attending IEP meetings, performing strategic planning, and writing letters.
