Provides financial assistance to county residents who are at risk of homelessness, but are INELIGIBLE for welfare programs, including Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), General Assistance (GA), or Supplemental Security Income (SSI).

Application process
Please call to schedule an appointment for intake. All applicants must complete a Homeless Management Information System (NJHMIS) Client Consent Single Intake form for each household member.
Eligibility
Open to County residents who: - Are NOT receiving Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), General Assistance (GA), or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) - Have not received any of the above benefits for more than 4 consecutive months within the last calendar year - Have a household income, including employment, unemployment benefits, social security, or pension - Are at imminent risk of homelessness due to short-term issues - Can prove that they can sustain the entire household going forward after assistance is received
