Eligibility

Families with dependent children who are facing a short-term financial crisis; Income eligibility requirements must be met and be verified with pay stubs, bank records, and proof of identity.

Required documents

Eviction notice and lock-out date, financial statements, pay stubs within the last 4 weeks, ID, proof of income eligibility.

Description

Provides short-term (up to 6 months) of financial assistance to stabilize families facing a short-term financial crisis. Assistance can be provided for short-term rental assistance for families with dependent children on a case-by-case basis, as well as education and employment support. All program participants are required to engage in case management services and life-skill seminars. Topics include money management, financial repair and budgeting. All program participants are also required to engage in a mandatory savings program.
