Payment Assistance for Gas and Electric (PAGE) | New Jersey SHARES
Provides a one-time payment assistance designed to help low to moderate income households across the state of New Jersey who are experiencing economic hardship and struggling to pay their electric and natural gas bills. The PAGE energy assistance program benefits homeowners and renters who are NJ residents and are facing a crisis situation that includes a documented notice of overdue payment for gas and/or electric service.

Application process
Call or walk-in to apply. Applications that are missing any required documentation will NOT be processed.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet ALL of the following:1) Currently receiving gas or electric services from one of the following companies: - JCP&L - PSEG - Rockland Electric - Atlantic City Electric - NJNG - Elizabeth Gas - South Jersey Gas - Or third party supplier who is billed through one of these companies2) Annual income: $0 - NJ Medium Income. Click HERE to see current income requirements.3) Have less than $15,000 in liquid assets4) Demonstrate that gas and/or electric account is currently 45 days or more past due, and/or has received a disconnection notice and/or service has already been disconnected. Minimum $100 account balance.
