Community Assistance Services | Community Affairs and Resource Center (CARC)

Provides diverse assistance, case management, and referral programs to the community, offering aid with legal documents like divorce, housing, child support, and immigration paperwork. Additional services include help with NJ SNAP/Food Stamp and NJ Family Care applications, domestic violence advocacy, notary public services, parent education and support groups, post-partum depression support, protective services for parents involved with DCP&P, and translation and interpreting services for court appearances.

Provides a wide variety of services to the Latino, Creole, Haitian, African-American, and Caucasian communities. CARC provides case management, translation/interpretation services, notary public, job readiness classes, employment placement assistance, rental and energy assistance, lead education, lead hazard reduction assistance in homes, advocacy and referral services. Additonal services incluse english as a second Language (ESL) classes, workshops, parenting classes, health and nutrition classes.
