Rutgers Day School | Rutgers University Behavioral HealthCare - Main Office

Provides an intensive outpatient day treatment/special education program for children and adolescents with serious emotional disturbances that significantly interfere with the ability to function at home or school. The program includes individual, group and family therapy, therapeutic education and milieu programming. Psychopharmacological treatment is supervised by medical director and unit nurse.

Referrals to this program are usually accepted from school child study teams. Parents and others can call the Access Center for more information on how to apply.

Open to children and adolescents, ages 3 through 18, classified as emotionally disturbed.
