Assists with specialized federal tax-related services at the IRS taxpayer assistance center in Edison, including account inquiries, adjustments, alien clearances, taxpayer assistance order applications, basic tax law assistance, Form 2290 preparation aid, individual taxpayer identification numbers and Form W-7, multilingual support, payment arrangements, payments, procedural inquiries, solutions to tax issues, and tax form assistance. Note: Taxpayer assistance centers no longer provide tax return preparation services; these requests are deferred to other resources like free file and VITA.
