Service Dogs Program | Dogs for Better Lives
Trains hearing dogs to assist individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing, children with autism spectrum disorder, physicians, teachers, and counselors. Hearing dogs are trained from four to six months and delivered at no cost. Dogs are conditioned to respond to a variety of sounds, including: alarm clocks, crying infants, doorbells, kitchen appliances, the owner's name, and smoke/fire alarms.
