Eligibility

Open to individuals, ages 21 and older, who have:- An intellectual and/or developmental disability- A mental health diagnosis with present challenging behaviorsMust also be funded by the New Jersey Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD).

Referral by DDD Support Coordinator and or Mental Health Provided.

Description

Provides a vocational training program serving individuals who have both an intellectual disability and a mental health diagnosis and/or present challenging behaviors. Green Grove also serves as a transition program for individuals who have moved from an institutional setting into the community. All program participants receive social skills training with a high staff-to-participant ratio. Activities include socialization, activities of daily living, and vocational skills, with a focus on positive behavior supports.
