Payment Assistance for Gas and Electric (PAGE) | New Jersey SHARES
Provides a one-time assistance program designed to help low to moderate income households across the state of New Jersey who are experiencing economic hardship and struggling to pay their electric and natural gas bills. The PAGE energy assistance program benefits homeowners and renters who are NJ residents and are facing a crisis situation that includes a documented notice of overdue payment for gas and/or electric service.

Call or walk-in to apply.
Eligibility
To qualify, applicants must receive gas or electric service from an eligible utility, have an annual income within NJ Medium Income limits, hold less than $15,000 in liquid assets, and show that their account is at least 45 days past due, has a disconnection notice, or has been disconnected with a minimum balance of $100. A good faith payment of $25 must also be made within 90 days prior to the application date.
