Description

Assists with financial burdens from COVID-19-related funeral costs incurred after January 20, 2020. FEMA offers financial aid through the Other Needs Assistance (ONA) provision of the Individuals and Households Program (IHP) to cover disaster-related funeral expenses. With the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations Act, 2021, and the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, FEMA will cover 100 percent of funeral costs specifically related to COVID-19.
