Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) | Catholic Charities Diocese of Trenton - Mental Health
Educating and evaluating individuals convicted of DUI, the Intoxicated Driver Resource Center (IDRC) addresses drunk, drugged drivers, and underage drinkers as mandated by the court. Non-compliance may lead to license revocation and potential incarceration. Convicted individuals must attend a 12-hour Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) Offenders program, featuring drug and alcohol education, evaluation, treatment referral, and monitoring. This court-mandated program serves as an alternative to incarceration, conducted in both Spanish and English. Specialized services are available for Army Reserve and National Guard members who served in Afghanistan or Iraq, with two IDRC groups currently available.
