Rehabilitation Technology | Heightened Independence and Progress (HIP)
Assists elderly and disabled individuals by providing funding for assistive devices and services to promote independent living. Services include:- Community Support Specialist (CILS): Offers ongoing care management for Hudson County residents aged 18-64. Assists with physical, sensory, developmental, and mental health needs, coordinating home healthcare, financial benefits, and essential services.- Modification Access Project (MAP): Provides partial funding for Bergen County residents to enhance home accessibility.- SAIL Program: Offers partial/full funding for medical devices and home modifications for disabled Hudson County residents. Provides a $250.00 annual SAIL fund for incontinent and wound care supplies.- Special Needs Assistance Program: Grants financial assistance (up to $300) for modifications and assistive devices to elderly or disabled Bergen County residents aged 18-64.
