Manages a variety of mental health programs for Atlantic County residents of all ages, including:- Overseeing the Adult Services System: Acting as the liaison between the Mental Health Advisory Board and county government, the New Jersey Division of Mental Health Services, and other mental health planning and policy groups. The focus is on State-funded mental health programs for adults.- Administering the Children's System of Care: Providing services for children with emotional and behavioral disturbances and their families. The Mental Health Administrator addresses inquiries about accessing mental health services, questions or concerns about the mental health system, information and referral to community-based services/resources, support services for consumers and families, and advocacy organizations.- Conducting Youth Mental Health First Aid Classes: Offering classes to help parents, caregivers, and professionals working with youth aged 12-18 identify typical adolescent behavior, symptoms requiring attention, and assisting a youth in crisis. Topics cover risk factors, warning signs for various mental health issues, and learning about community resources.
