Description

Provides supportive and informative assistance to crime victims. Aims to ensure that all of the rights afforded to victims of crime are being met. Services include but are not limited to written notification of court proceedings, assistance filing claims with the Victims of Crime Compensation Board, as well as comfort, support and assistance for victims who testify at trial.

Assists victims in filing claims with the crime compensation board, property return, employee interventions, self help groups and social services. Provides victims with information about the criminal justice process, their rights as crime victims, case status information and support services.
