Bringing together blind and sighted individuals, the Sports and Recreation Division of the National Federation of the Blind of NJ aims to actively engage participants in sports and recreational activities at state, local, and personal levels. Goals include challenging negative assumptions about blind individuals' involvement, introducing various activities and adaptations, organizing statewide events, and fostering the exchange of personal experiences to offer information, inspiration, support, and practical advice.
