Description

Provides respite care services to individuals in need of care, granting caregivers a much-needed break. Services encompass adult day care, home care, companionship, campership, or short stays in facilities. Eligibility requires the care recipient to be frail or functionally impaired, have an unpaid caregiver, reside in the community, and meet financial criteria. Statewide Respite Care Program

Serves and addresses homelessness; neglect, abuse and exploitation; health and respite care; financial instability due to physical, developmental or mental disabilities; childhood literacy and obesity; Medicare counseling; and long-term care assistance.
