Work First New Jersey (WFNJ) | Monmouth County Division of Social Services
Promotes personal responsibility and self-sufficiency through work, requiring able-bodied recipients to engage in work-related activities. Participants in approved work activities under Work First New Jersey (WFNJ) are eligible to receive monthly bus passes or daily tickets for transportation. Long-term recipients also benefit from intensive case management services aimed at enhancing self-sufficiency.

Eligible TANF and GA recipients will be referred to the program by a case manager. Please call for more information.
