Participation in a qualifying federal assistance program: - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps- Medicaid- Supplemental Security Income (SSI)- Federal Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)- Veterans Pension and Survivors Benefit- Tribal Programs (and live on federally-recognized Tribal lands)
