Provides representation to children in family court for child abuse and neglect cases. Engages in advocacy through administrative hearings on public benefits, education, immigration, medical, and mental health issues. Assists with obtaining or maintaining SSI benefits for disabled children, securing necessary therapeutic and medical interventions, assisting kinship caregivers with legal, financial, and educational needs, and representing abused and neglected children in foster care, especially those with disabilities.LEGAL ASSISTANCE

Eligibility

Open to anyone with cases are only considered for clients whose income falls within 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines in the service area
