Advocacy | Heightened Independence and Progress (HIP)
Advocacy promotes and ensures the full inclusion of people with disabilities in the community. The staff directs efforts toward working with individual consumers, who face difficulties in areas of housing, employment, transportation, remaining independent in the homes, assists with completing applications for immigration, Social Security, and other financial benefit programs.Special services are also offered for underserved minorities who have disabilities.
