Eligibility

DCPP Referral with most recent positive SUD within 45 days, child under the age of 6 and in parent's custody/care at least 50% of the time.

Application process

Referred to IHRP by DCPP CW and/or CPSAI to Program Director. Case reviewed by IHRP PD, DCPP CW and supervisor followed by a pre-intake followed with a pre-intake with client, IHRP team and DCPP CW.

Description

An intensive, in-home clinical treatment program for families with young children (under the age of 6) at risk for abuse, neglect, poor developmental outcomes and removal due to parental substance use. The overarching goal of the IHRP intervention is to support substance use recovery and promote stability and safety for families. Provides intensive trauma-informed psychotherapy and substance use treatment for the parent(s) and attachment-based parent-child therapy for children to ensure that they develop optimally in substance-free, safe and stable home with their parents.

Provides trauma-informed care to adults and children through various programs and services. Mental health therapy, substance abuse support/prevention, peer recovery support, and employee assisted programs in the workplace are some of the services offered.
