Description

Encourages individuals to report suspicions of fraud, waste, or abuse against Social Security to the Office of the Inspector General. Reported cases may involve making false statements on claims, concealing facts affecting benefit eligibility, misuse of benefits by a representative payee, and more, including crimes involving SSA employees, scams impersonating SSA employees, bribery, and various types of fraud.
