Description
Operates an approved private school by the New Jersey Department of Education for children needing continuous, high-level nursing care. The Bancroft School at Voorhees Pediatric Facility provides education, therapy integration, and a 2:1 student-to-staff ratio for 70 medically fragile and/or technology-dependent children aged 3 through 21. The school offers individualized education plans, therapy during the school day, intervention strategies for parents, and opportunities for students to interact with peers without disabilities to prepare for eventual transition to less-restrictive programs if appropriate.
